The melting snowman

I love going into Lush and taking in all the different scents, As I have very dry and sensitive skin, I also suffer from really bad eczema all over my body, So as much as I love my nice pamper baths, This makes me limited to what I use. Meaning Lush is a big no no.

I wandered in there and found my self browsing at all the products, I have heard how good a bath melt is, as it is full of hydrating oils and ingredients to really hydrate and do wonders for your skin. I found my self picking this little cutie up.. How can you resist? he is adorable! He has a cute little orange nose and ACTUAL chocolate buttons! I was kind of sad watching him melt away... But it didn't disappoint.

The idea behind these bath melts is that you let it float around and 'melt' in the bath.

The scent of Lush Melting Snowman is delicious and perfect for Christmas time. The main ingredients are rich moisturising products like cocoa and Shea butters along with almond oil. They’re followed by cinnamon leaf oil, patchouli oil, sweet orange oil, clove leaf oil, and lime oil. You definitely get a rich warm scent of the butters along with an undercurrent of spice, with the clove and cinnamon being the most prevalent. This smells really good.

When placed in the water the melting snow man does just what the name would suggest.. He melts. Dissolving into nothing and leaving your water a very milky, silky white. The bath melts really are luxurious and moisturising. This bath melt did NOT irritate my eczema skin, and Left my skin feeling so much softer and my skin looking much better. I can't stress how important that was for me, And I can enjoy a nice pamper bath without having a bad reaction yay!

This little fella will cost you £2.25, One of the more cheaper products! Lush for me isn't for everyday use, It is a real treat. But I will definitely be picking up a few more little snow men to use when I need a good pick me up.

Do you suffer from Exzema or dry senstive skin? What products work wonders for you? Please leave me a comment because I would love to know!

  8. I love this product and I've just bought one as a sticking filler. Have you tried lush dream cream? It's amazing on my dry and sensitive skin and its supposed to be great for eczema. I did a blogpost on it a little while ago.

  9. This looks like such a cute present! I do suffer from eczema really badly as well though, so did it react with your skin at all?

I did a post about how I look after my skin in winter because since I've moved up to the north-east, the colder temps have ruined my skin! Anyway these tips really help me :) xx
